Overview of Position:
As a Senior .NET Analyst Programmer, you will play a key role in the development in the expansion of our TOPS Valuation application to HK. This includes designing, developing, and testing the application whilst also managing technical support tasks. This senior role also requires the candidate to have a sound understanding of enterprise application development standards and methodologies and demonstrated experience working with custom enterprise frameworks.
As a member of our geographically distributed development team your communication and analytical skills are essential to the role.
Key Responsibilities:
The major requirement for this role is to assist with the development/enhancement of our current database-driven application TOPS for the HK market.
Your skills in conceptualizing solutions while working with minimal oversight will enable you to thrive in our constantly evolving environment. You will need the ability to work as a team member and be able to assist the development team in assessing the needs of the business users, developing extensible solutions to meet those needs and applying best-practices in developing those solutions will be critical to your success in this role.
You will need to work with key business staff based in our office in Brisbane, Australia and senior business line leaders in Singapore and be able to clearly assess their requirements and be able to clearly communicate and share ideas verbally and in writing.
You will also be responsible for offering technical expertise to our TOPS team of developers in Gurgaon, India and assisting with Quality control of code produced and mentoring them and linking closely with the nominated developer (in that team) responsible for the TOPS HK roll out.
Required Knowledge & Skills:
*Degree qualified.
*7+ years experience in various software development/maintenance roles using ASP.NET (VB) 4.5 or higher, Object Modeling, Angular JS, Bootstrap, Entity Framework, JQuery, HTML5, CSS3, Distributed technologies like WEB API, WCF, XML Web Services, MVC architecture, Version control systems like TFS.
*Competence in SQL Server (2014 experience preferred). Advance PL/SQL, Stored Procedures etc. Good
understanding of SSRS reports development and SSIS.
*Experience with Real Estate IT systems would be advantage.
*Understanding of Enterprise Frameworks, Release procedures, understanding of development environments.
*Demonstrated ability in communicating with business users and assessing their needs.
*Demonstrated ability in working with and advising a team of developers.
*Demonstrated ability in providing solutions and working through the full development life cycle.
*Experience in progress reporting to management.
*Time Management Skills.
*Analytical and problem-solving skills.
*Other duties as required.
