Job Description
Job Overview: SoftClouds is looking for a Senior Dot net developer/Architect ---- with at least 8 years of experience to join the growing technology department and assist in the development of cloud solutions. Our tech team currently consists of PHP, Java and front-end developers working on a variety of complex, proprietary systems as well as seamlessly integrated cloud applications.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Work with Solution Architects and other team members to participate in development of cloud solutions and maintaining the existing code base as well as extending it with new features as requested
• Utilize established development tools, guidelines and conventions including but not limited to ASP.NET, SQL Server, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Design, code and test new web software applications and any custom Addin, Widgets for Oracle Service cloud application
• Create technical design specifications and test plans
• Maintain existing software systems by identifying and correcting software defects
• May need to work late hours for deployments and be available to resolve any business impacting issue or system outage
• Investigate and develop skills in new technologies
Required skills and experience:
• 8 years working in the Microsoft stack, including extensive experience using C#, .NET 3.5 and newer.
• Develop, implement, manage and maintain web applications in PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS
• Be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of database design principles
• Experience working with Microsoft web technologies such as ASP.NET and WCF
• Proficient in web services/API via SOAP/REST, with familiarity in XML, XSD, XSLT, JSON, and WSDLs
• Be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of Design Patterns and their applications
Desired
• Experience with CRM/ CX applications (Siebel, Salesforce, Eloqua) is a PLUS
• Development experience in Oracle Service Cloud including RightNow Query Language, Custom Object Deployment, Workspace/WorkFlow Development, Agent Scripting, Custom Process Model, Business Rules, Add-ins and Widgets is a BIG PLUS
