Job Description Summary
Analyzes, designs, programs, and modifies software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, cloud-based or Internet-related computer programs. Code may be used in commercial or end-user applications, such as materials management, financial management, mobile apps or desktop applications products. Using current programming languages and technologies, leveraging BDD (Behavior Drive Development)/TDD (Test Driven Development) methodologies, writes code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of applications. Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. May interact with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications. Provides an escalation point for client issues related to software development and support. Adheres to Software Engineering and Information Security Controls; aligns with enterprise architectural strategies. Closes existing software defects and ensures maintenance of architectural diagrams.
Job Description
Candidate should be able to work as an individual with minimum supervision and should be a self-motivated and highly ambitious. The job description includes the following activities
Review and analyze the tickets, should be able to collaborate with in the team over here on how to proceed
Should be able to understand the requirements and analyze to come with possible solutions
Should be able to code & unit test based on the analysis with minimum guidance/supervision
Working closely with testing team to ensure on quality deliverables
Should report to Project Manager on process or project related items/issues
Able to understand the need and guide a team with a solution (technical (required) or functional (preferred)) using current programming languages and technologies, leveraging BDD (Behavior Drive Development)/TDD (Test Driven Development) methodologies.
Essential Skills
Good experience in Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, SOAP, RESTful Web services, Design Patterns, Hibernate and IBM DB2 OSDB.
Sound knowledge on Programming
Good Debugging skills using the tools
Good documentation skills
Graduate or Post graduate from a reputed institute
Good written and verbal communication
Desired Skills
Knowing the Jscript and Angular JS is an added advantage
Retirement Domain knowledge is preferred
Knowledge in Mainframe is preferred
interact with users to define/understand system requirements and/or necessary modifications
adhere to Software Engineering and Information Security Controls and aligns with enterprise architectural strategies to close existing software defects
solve complex problems; identify new solutions using a broad perspective and understanding
