Job Description• Organize and influence production processes/tools/methodologies to implement the best practice.
• Lead and manage OpExinitiatives (using Lean and six sigma) by defining objectives for across all functions, and ensure achievement.
• Continually review requirements related to new processes, new products introduction and changes in technology, customer needs and safety and environmental regulations.
• Conduct regular audits and reviews, identify cause of deviations, and provides guidelines and support for improvement through statistical tools and capability studies.
• Assess tools and processes with the view of benchmarking them against best in class
• Manage OpEx program and Initiative to increase and improve efficiency
• Participate in alignment of Quality and Operations strategy.
• Support continuous improvement activities and facilitate selected Kaizen events.
• Develop long term strategy for Operations Excellenceand deployment including KPI setting and reporting
• Collaborate with functional managers on driving Lean Six-Sigma projects to increase productivity and enhance effectiveness of operation processes and systems.
• Train, coach and mentor all personnel in the application of Operational Excellence principles,
• Participate and contribute to the global Operational Excellence network and share best practices systems and tools.
Requirements
• Graduate in Mechanical Engineering
• Working in OpEx / lean manufacturing .with minimum of 10 to 15 years
• Experience with lean, and Six Sigma tools
• Exposure to 5S,SFM, SMED, TPM, VSM activities
• Knowledge on systems management
• Self-Starting, High energy, pro-active and accountable leader
• Strong Leadership, team facilitations skills
