Job Description (Overview of Role)
Reference Data Technology is responsible for the strategy, sourcing, maintenance, and distribution of Reference Data across the Bank. It is also responsible for Global Markets Client Onboarding, Reg W, and FMU Reporting. Reference Data comprises 3 main categories - Client, Instrument and Book. Reference Data Technology is a provider of data for Front to Back Flows, Enterprise Supply Chain, Risk, Banking, GWIM and Compliance. PME and Bookmap are the firm's Authorized Data Sources for Instrument and Book data. Cesium is the System of Record for Client data in Global Markets. Some of the data domains include but are not limited to:
- Client Counterparty: Organizations, Individuals, Prospects, Contacts
- Client Accounts & SSIs: Cash, Derivatives, Processing
- Book: trading Books, Subledgers, Volcker classifications
- Instruments: Listed Products, Cleared Products, EOD Pricing, Holiday Calendars The associate would be a senior member and individual contributor as part of the Reference Data agile team based out of Chennai. The associate would be responsible for coordinating Impact Analysis, Acceptance Criteria, DQ Requirements, Design, Architecture and SDLC of all features developed from BACI.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the requirements are clear, design is accurate, test plan covers all aspects of the requirement and all factors related to the development of the project is accounted for.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Program Manager, Developers and Release Management
- Coordinate release and sprint planning and conduct daily scrum meetings between the feature teams
- Effectively communicate with stakeholders during the feature's delivery process about the release timelines and dependencies
- Effectively conveys message in both written and verbal development discussions
- Designs, develops, enhance, debugs, supports, maintain and tests software applications that support business units or supporting functions.
- Learn new technologies when directed as future development may involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools
Work in a fast paced environment, under minimal supervision, with guidance from senior team members
Requirements
Required Skills
- Education: BE / MCA
- Certifications If Any: None
- Experience Range: 10 – 15 Years
- Solid knowledge of OOPs (JAVA)
- Strong knowledge of SQL (DB2 \ Oracle) is mandatory
- Strong knowledge of Capital Markets domain
- Experience in running projects end-to-end
- Strong Analytical skills
- A proactive approach to problem solving and think innovatively
- Knowledge in Release Management process of software deployment
- Knowledge of Agile development process Desired Skills
- Agile development practices (CI, TDD, BDD, etc)
Work / Shift Timings: 11.30 am to 8.30 pm IST
