Job Description:
Responsibilities
* Plays a key role as the senior developer for enterprise applications and business solution
related projects. Responsible for detailed technical architecture and design for projects.
* Build new systems with .NET 4.5 / C# / SQL Server 2008 / WCF / WF / WCF Data
Services.
* Develop new functionality on our existing software products.
* Lead/mentor developers and share knowledge through knowledge-sharing
presentations.
* Works closely with the architecture/design team to ensure that development practices
are aligned with the overall applications architecture.
* Functions as a technical expert in the design, development, modification and debugging
of websites, integration, network diagrams, hardware plans and related activities.
* Ensures that projects follow Agile and meet quality standards.
* Keeps current with trends and technological innovations in the IT industry, and makes
appropriate development recommendations.
* Documents development practices appropriately and consistently within the defined
architectural process.
* Propose new or improved components for our core web platform and for other
initiatives.
* Contribute fresh, new ideas during developer meetings and other brainstorming
sessions
* Work independently on individual projects and cohesively with other talented
developers and business analysts in a positive, team environment.
* Design application system solutions that meet immediate business requirements while
supporting longer-term business and architectural directions.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or the equivalent work experience
* Seven(+) years experience as a developer (lead developer would be a plus).
* Five(+) years experience with ASP.NET/C#.
* Three(+) years working with SQL Server (2005/2008 preferred).
* Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and computer science
foundations, such as memory management and low-level algorithm performance.
* Deep knowledge of the .NET 3.5/4.0/4.5 Framework, including Visual Studio 2010-2013,
C#, ASP.NET, ASMX, WCF Web Services, WF and ADO.NET.
* Fluent in JavaScript/jQuery, SOAP, REST, SOA AJAX, JSON, XML.
* Strong knowledge of software implementation best practices.
* Strong experience designing and working with n-tier architectures (UI, Business Logic
Layer, Data Access Layer) along with some experience with service-oriented
architectures (SOA).
* Ability to design and optimize SQL Server 2008 stored procedures.
* Experience with jQuery or similar technologies.
* Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment.
* Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software is necessary.
* Candidate should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible teamplayer
* and exhibit exceptional relationship management skills.
* Passionate about building high-quality systems with software implementation best
practices while leading and mentoring developers.
* Excellent analytical and problem solving skills essential.
* Excellent communications skills (listening, speaking, and presentation skills).
* Ability to collaborate, brainstorm and be creative.
