Job Description:
Mandatory Skills
- Java, J2EE, Web Services, Spring, Junit, Integration testing
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Web Services technologies (preferably REST/JSON based)
- Experience in Java/JEE client and server technologies (preferably Spring based)
- Familiar with Web and Application servers like Apache, HTTP, Tomcat
- Experience working in an agile, fast-paced environment.
- Problem solving skills
- Good understanding of object oriented design patterns
- Broad based understanding of enterprise software
- Experience with cross-browser support
- Strong coding, profiling and testing skills
- Experience in interacting with SQL databases from Java, preferably using a persistence framework such as Hibernate. Experience with a NoSQL database.
- Experience of webpage UI technologies (Angular JS, JavaScript)
- Comfortable with configuration management tools, preferably Git, Subversion, Maven/Gradle and JIRA
- Experience with developing on Windows (primarily) and Linux
- Ability to write concise and coherent functional and technical designs - - -
- Ability to write "Clean code"
- Exposure to requirements analysis
- Experience with test driven development
- Exposure to test case planning, creating test strategy, writing tests and test execution.
- Knowledge of Storage Basics is a plus (Understands concepts such as SAN, NAS etc.)
- Good communication skills
- Should be a team player
- Nice to have Micro Services Architecture, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Behavior and Test Driven Development (TDD) experience
