Job responsibilities:
Prospective candidate would be working on Linux based mobile multimedia platforms. Primary responsibility is to integrate open source DISPLAY, GRAPHICS frameworks on LINUX based HW platforms. Significant customizationof frameworks along with adding glue layers between middleware and LINUX interfaces is required. The work also involves development of native applications to test end to end functionality of display/graphics and multimedia use cases.
Functional experience and expertise requirement:
Deep expertise with integrating open source frameworks for display/graphics and multimedia on Linux based mobile platforms
Strong expertise with 2D and 3D graphics technology and APIS standards EGL, OPENGL and OPENGLES
Deep expertise with opensource display/graphics composition and rendering frameworks like Wayland/Weston, DRM and MESA
Deep knowledge of the Linux Kernel and middleware interactions and integration
General skills requirements:
Candidate with EE, CS background with 6 to 12 years of embedded software development on high end systems
Fully conversant with C/C++ development, integration and testing
Proficiency in real time multi-threaded software design/development, system programming using IPC, synchronization primitives
Experience with open source development tools like GDB, Git, JIRA under Linux environment
Development and Debugging using host - target tool chains for embedded platforms
