Web Developer- Essential Skills
• 3+ years of software development experience
• Excellent coding ability in a .NET (preferably C#) web environment including Web Forms, MVC, WCF, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and XML.
• Experience of SQL database development with a good understanding of performance tuning (ideally in Oracle or other RDBMS)
• Broad knowledge of software development process and technologies
• Good working knowledge of Windows Servers & IIS
• Experienced with multi-tier, enterprise applications and large relational databases
• Experienced in an Agile environment, ideally Scrum
• Ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders in technical and business areas
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to anticipate potential problems, determine and implement solutions
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Detail oriented, self-motivated, able to work independently, and committed to the highest standards of quality
• Ability to work in a fast paced / changing environment
• Ability to thrive in a deadline driven, stressful project environment.
SR Web Developer - Essential Skills
• Solid experience of software development
• C# .NET web development including MVC, ASP.NET Web API, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework
• Experience with JSON, XML, JavaScript (JQuery, Angular2, React, Etc.), HTML, CSS
• Commercial experience of database development.
• Experience in an agile environment.
• Good working knowledge of operating systems and Web Server Software including Windows & IIS
• Experienced with high volume, scalable, distributed systems.
• Ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders in technical and business areas.
• Ability to anticipate potential problems, determine and implement solutions
• Detail oriented, self-motivated, able to work independently, and is committed to the highest standards of quality
• Ability to work in a fast paced / changing environment
Desirable Skills
• Degree in Computer Science or similar
• Strong understanding of SOA principles, Design Patterns, Unit Testing and ability to provide solutions based on them
• web development using Azure Cloud Computing, Domain Design Patterns, Bootstrap, Application Insights
• Experience working on financial and business intelligence projects
