Experience: 7 – 12 years
Knowledge and Skills
- A Bachelor/Master’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
- 7-12 years of programming experience with Java & Angular JS
- Strong working knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3
- Solid understanding of full web technology stack.
- Established knowledge in many of the following areas: J2EE, Web 2.0, AJAX, XML, JBoss/Tomcat, Spring, Play, Hibernate, SQL etc.
- Demonstrated ability to perform prototyping and usability testing.
- Intimate knowledge of one or more JavaScript frameworks such as angular.js, bootstrap.js, jQuery, ExtJS, Backbone.js etc.
- Experience with the mobile form factor is a plus.
- Comfortable with Linux/Unix and Windows environments.
- Experience with distributed and/or big data systems is desirable.
- Software development and engineering skills on large-scale, mission-critical infrastructure applications is a plus.
- Familiar with Agile SCRUM development methodologies
Additional Desirable Skills:
- Experience working with additional tools such as Maven, Chef, Puppet
- Web services (REST or SOAP)
- Experience with concurrency issues in multi-threaded programs
- Experience working with data visualization libraries like D3.JS
- Experience working with Docker and Mesosphear
