Job Description:
• Analysis, software design and implementation of UI features, Data Model and algorithms to validate and optimize DWDM, SONET/SDH, OTN based networks, which are designed based on a variety of parameters.
• Work collaboratively with Systems Engineers and Verification teams.
• Troubleshooting and debugging of reported issues.
• Translate high system-level requirements into detailed set of design documents
SKILLS
• End-to-end software development (requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and support) – Critical
• C#.Net – Critical
• WPF Framework, nHibernate - Critical
• Good Communication Skills - Critical
• Good Interpersonal Skills - Critical
• Knowledge of Telecom concepts in terms of DWDM, SONET/SDH, OTN, Packet and telecom object models – Desired
• Familiarity/experience with other technologies, including; database design, Client/Server etc. is considered an asset.
DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS
Must be able to travel to United States or Canada for extended periods of time (up to 2 months) with advance notice Independent self-starter and committed to delivering on aggressive deadlines.
Comfortable in a team environment with ability to lead and work with little supervision
