Job Profile:
• We are looking for a Java J2EE Architect with experience in building high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications.
• You will be part of a talented software team that works on mission-critical applications.
• You will be responsible for Java/J2EE application development while providing expertise in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing.
• You will be responsible for development of applications using different Java/J2EE based open source products such as Liferay, Alfresco, iDempiere and so on.
• You will be required to do client communication.
• You will be responsible to provide technical leadership and manage project from technical perspective
• Understand customer's business challenges/goals and arrive at value added technology solutions, define technology direction and roadmap
• Analysing and solving complex business and workflow issues with solid scalable technical solutions
• Design systems at the component level, make strategic technology choices, and directly supervise the quality of designs and implementation inside and between components
• Guide a team of engineers – offshore and onsite in design and code
• Have mastery of relevant technologies – including Proprietary languages
• Ensure industry defined Best Practices are followed in design and coding
• Work with Sales/Business Development team in identifying new business opportunities with customer and transform to projects
• Ensure design and code quality
• Work with distributed teams for delivery and execution of projects
• You will be responsible to built technical competencies within the organisation
Desired Candidate Profile:
• Should have good working experience in core Java, JSP, Spring, ORM framework
• Should be with design hands on architectural capability
• Hands on experience of software development using J2EE Frameworks – Spring, Struts, Hibernate
• Hands on experience of Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
• Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA, Hibernate)
• Hands on experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, Spring MVC, Struts)
• Good knowledge of at least one Java Script frameworks (JQuery, YUI, Alloy UI, Backbone JS, Angular JS)
• Good Knowledge of developing RESTFull or SOAP based Web Services
• Basic knowledge of HTML 5 and CSS 3
• Experience working on Liferay, Alfresco, iDempiere, ZK will be an advantage
• Should be able to work in multiple projects and stake holders both at onsite & offshore
• Knowledge and experience of Agile software development processes and methodologies
• Should possess good knowledge and experience in handling open source frameworks and tools
• Ability and passion to learn new technologies quickly
• Strong problem solving and thought partnership skills
• Strong sense of ownership and the ability to work with a limited set of requirements
• Team attitude
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• 10+ years of experience in the Software Industry
• Experience in Performance Tuning will be an added advantage
