Have at least 3 years of experience in core people management
Experience in handling technical teams of 10+ people
Have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in Java technologies (JSF, EJB, JPA, Hibernet, Springs, Angular JS, Bootstrap etc.)
Well versed with the latest technological trends in Social media, Mobile, Analytics, Cloud etc.
Experience in managing framework and tools teams involving support activities is preferred
Proficiency with relational database technology
Have fair knowledge of database modelling processes on one or more RDBMS platforms like Oracle and DB2
Have good knowledge of database development and management practices
Good experience in ITIL practices is preferred
Be a believer of values and have necessary soft skills (respect for individual, active listening, no nonsense, cost/benefit thinking, little hierarchical thinking, service oriented, efficiency). A role model in these area.
You like to work with people more than with programs or computers. You find your satisfaction in the growth of people. You can live with not being the cricket player in foreground but as coach in background.
You can adapt your leadership depending on situation: coaching and delegating responsibilities where possible, directing or micro management as a last option only.
You can take quick, but thoughtful decisions
You are not simply an executer of "assignments" but somebody who sees opportunities and takes initiatives and develops vision (technical, functional, organizational, methodology,..)
You're a pusher who can make ideas come true in reality
You can inspire/motivate people to reach results
You are strong in organization / coordination of projects and daily operations
You are social and you build easily professional relationships with people of all levels and departments in the organization

B.E./B.Tech, MCA or equivalent technical degree
