Ivanti Software is currently seeking a Principal Software Engineer to work on many aspects of our IT Service Management platform. A Senior Software Engineer on this team will be a cross functional member whom can work within a highly experienced group of engineers, as well as collaborate with others outside of the team to build industry leading software patch products and content.
The role will be required to deliver solid product designs to build the product and content portfolio based on requirements set forth by Product Management, User Experience, Product Owners and your own input for the future of the product. The candidate does not see large code bases or complex problems as roadblocks, but a set of rewarding challenges to build products that will empower our users to quickly and easily secure the enterprise.
Responsibilities:
•Development of Cloud based applications.
•Deliver quality code via unit testing, provide guidance for both test automation and manual testing.
•Provides guidance to cross-functional/organizational team members.
•Documents code at a level that provides a standard for other Engineers Testing.
•Support the application to go through the full lifecycle, both during development and after release.
•Work within a truly agile team that is willing to do whatever it takes to make the team successful.
Experience:
Position 1:PSE-Front End Developer:
• 8+ years of experience with object oriented JavaScript, AngularJS, CSS2/CSS3 and HTML/HTML5;
• Good understanding of SOAP/REST Web services.
• Hands on in ASP.NET MVC, C# and MS SQL Server.
• Experience in Distributed and scalable cloud solutions.
• Experience in building multi-tenant applications
• Attention to detail, high degree of accuracy in daily work, ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or related discipline
Additional Skills:
• Experience building Single Page Applications (SPA) using MVC model with Responsive Design.
• Cloud product development / implementation experience
• Working experience in metadata based applications
• Knowledge of ITIL processes, Service management business exposure is a plus.
Position2:PSE-Full Stack Developer
• 8+ years of experience using ASP.NET MVC & C#
• Good understanding of object oriented JavaScript
• Strong knowledge of MS SQL Server
• Experience in Distributed and scalable cloud solutions
• Experience in SOAP/REST Web services
• Exposure to Windows Azure.
• Experience in integration with large systems (Salesforce, SAP, etc.…)
• Some experience in architecting Software systems.
• Sound understanding of the entire Software Development Life Cycle
• Experience in building multi-tenant applications
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Attention to detail, high degree of accuracy in daily work, ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or related discipline
Additional Skills:
• Experience in Front End Web development and JavaScript based Single Page Application (SPA) using MVC model with Responsive Design.
• Experience with AngularJS.
• Working experience in metadata based applications
• Experience in building backend services such as workflow/business process engines or integration.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes, Service management business exposure is a plus.
• Working experience in XML and XSLT
