Job description
- Candidate Should be a Certified Value Engineer like (AVS,CVS) from SAVE/INVEST EXT.
- Cost and Value Engineering (CVE) technology specialist for specific technology related manufacturing technology
- Responsible for generation of transparency in products, systems and solutions, production process, related costs and improvement potentials (CAO, Cost
Analysis and Optimization) and supplier productivity improvement measures (SPI)
- Partner of R&D / Engineering, partner of procurement in negotiations
Cost and Value Engineering
Contribute to competitiveness and profitability of products and solutions through application of Cost and Value Engineering levers and methods.
Build expertise in own area of responsibility, exchange knowledge with network partners.

Compile feasible costs per component as basis for bottom-up target indication and cost split as part of system target costing process.
Propose improvement measures and quantification of potentials to CVEs and other functions."
"Design to Value, and Standardization and Modularization (DtV)
Calculate cost base lining and regular cost updates for components and solutions acc. to maturity of design
Propose DtC measures to R&D / Engineering and CVEs along with quantified financial impact expectation.

Generate transparency in supplier processes, applied technologies and related costs
Identify and quantify improvement potentials, contribute transparency to negotiations
Propose technology-based and lean optimization measures in the supply chain.
