· Minimum 6 years of hands on experience in Java (preferably Java 8) and J2EE. Would prefer a full stack developer who can contribute to backend as well as front end development.
· Ability to think critically and creatively to develop innovative solutions to problems.
· OOAD and architectural patterns
· Proficient in multi-threaded programming.
· Proficient with the Java/J2EE stack development and the following technologies: Web Services (RESTful/ SOAP), Spring, Hibernate, Unix/Linux, JDBC, MQ/ JMS, common open source frameworks (Maven, Log4J etc.) in Unix environment.
· Strong understanding of JavaScript, web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3
· Test Driven Development [TDD] practices using junit, mock frameworks is a must.
· Strong experience writing REST web services in Java
· Strong Experience in Angular JS.
· Should be a competent relational database SQL developer (Oracle and/ or DB2/ Sybase).
· Experience with common Java application servers.
· Experience with Data structures.
· Should be Familiar with Java Microservices.
· Good understanding of Java profiling tools and ability to write solid System Integration Test cases.
· Ability to work effectively as a member of a team and to mentor junior developers.
· A proactive approach to problem solving and decision making.
· Highly self- motivated and able to drive things independently and in smaller teams.
· Good communication skills to effectively interact with local and global teams.
