Development
Mainframe, Archer, MVC, .net, SQL
Responsible for providing technical solution and guidance to team
Flexible to work on multiple technologies and platforms
Self-motivated and organized in taking additional responsibilities
Integrate vendor applications into the M&T distributed computing environment.
Work with other teams in overall project execution from technical analysis and design through user acceptance testing, implementation, and post implementation support.
Support testing by Business and Operations Analysts. Perform required debugging and system remediation.
Prepare and maintain clear technical specifications and systems documentation.
Understand interrelationships and effects between interfacing systems and applications.
Provide day-to-day support of distributed applications (both technically and functionally). Maintain efficient operation and effectiveness of supported applications.
May participate in technical evaluations of vendor software.
Should be able to work independently on all level tasks and projects, requiring minimal supervision.
Demonstrated ability for complex problem analysis and resolution.
Ability to plan, prioritize, and integrate multiple system components in order to deploy successful solutions.
Experience with industry standard and state of the art technologies in development and support environments including vendor application software, operating system software, and hardware.
Solid understanding of vendor hardware configurations and software concepts
Knowledge of a Microsoft distributed environment, including server and desktop environments.
Knowledge of distributed infrastructure components including LAN/WAN infrastructure and Information Security concepts (ie; Active Directory).
Ability to interact and explain with other technical groups.
Must be self-directed and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Project management:
To prepare and submit the status reporting with minimizing the exposure to risk in the project and closure
To ensure process compliance in the project
Develop technical estimates, estimated time frames, and effort.
Maintain an excellent technical understanding of the supported applications.
Good understanding of the business functions, processes, operations, and strategic direction.
Interact with management, operations areas, other technology personnel, and vendors.
Perform other related duties or projects as required.
Understanding of a system development life cycle.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Must be detail orientated/articulate with strong time management/organizational skills.
