They are key participants in the engineering organization, overseeing the work of our software developers and software quality assurance engineers across the business. Our Technical Leads take ownership of the Technical Design and User Stories supplied by UX and Architecture teams at the beginning of the project, and become the recognized expert of required feature functionality for the project. They work closely with Project Managers to maintain realistic task schedules for which all technical resources are prepared and available to meet delivery deadlines. Technical Leads should be able to put their fingers on the keyboard and write code, help troubleshoot complex production issues, and are responsible for the technical design of the systems and software.

The Skills that Matter
10+ years of experience developing full-stack enterprise software
Ability to context switch and work in an open-space environment on-site at a customer facility
Ability to troubleshoot large, enterprise systems hosted in AWS
Role: Technical Lead: as part of an agile team, responsible to:
analyze new requirements and provide accurate level of effort estimates
design, document and implement technical solutions
provide complete technical governance, including code reviews and standards compliance
coach and mentor colleagues on development team
research and test new solutions, including authoring sample code, to solve customer technical obstacles
interact with client managers, developers, testers and operations teams
Technical Skills
10+ years of overall full-stack software development experience
3+ years of experience in agile development teams
2+ years in leading technical teams
Strong knowledge and experience with Java / JEE
Experience in cloud development technologies (AWS)
Ability to implement continuous integration, source control and automated testing
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related field
Leadership skills
Ability to lead and work with a team of 6-10 members
Must be able to work with the Scrum Master in mapping the agile lifecycle, outlining the sprints & overall roadmap and schedule, and set / review the overall quality of deliverables
Must be passionate about coding and able to mentor the local and remote team members as part of execution
Experience in handling or managing the customer interactions and deliverables
Excellent communication, collaboration, problem solving and facilitation skills.
