Sr. MTS / Staff Engineer
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Participate in the design, implementation, documentation of system architecture initiatives and full product development life cycles.
- Collaborate with project team members and cross functional product teams to execute product goals.
- Push the envelope in adopting new technologies, best design practices to ensure our products are the best.
- Innovate and coach others to innovate.
- Provide technical leadership to other team members and be a team player.
- Lead design and code reviews with a major focus on performance, scalability and future expansion
Requirements:
- Formal degree in computer science or equivalent, masters degree in computer science or a PhD preferred
- 10+ years of experience in developing distributed, multi-tier enterprise applications, APIs.
- Fully participated as a technical lead in several major product development cycles.
- Solid background in design, OOP, object and data modeling
- Deep working knowledge of Java, Spring, Relational Database, NoSQL databases
- Experience in design and implementation of service interface and public APIs
- Strong organization and project management skills
- Virtualization technologies, centralized networking, security management are all big plus
- Excellent in verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in cloud management system design is a plus

Sr. Member of Technical Staff
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Work with a top-notch team of engineers responsible for designing and implementing complex enterprise services, APIs and related back-end server and database technologies. Work involves extensive participation in design, coding and implementation of service components and applications.
- Develop products and service platform solutions by working closely with Product Management, Technical Alliance, and Solutions Engineering teams
- Create and present technical presentations to internal teams and partners
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Deep technical skills across several enterprise technologies, both proprietary and open-source, and a good breadth across many technologies. Knowledge spanning multiple platforms and architectures with solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and performance optimization techniques.
- Must have experience building large scale, high performance systems and server software.
- Demonstrated excellence in designing and implementing multi-tiered consumer and enterprise applications, high throughput services and integration middleware
- Expertise with heterogeneous, enterprise, distributed, object-oriented client/server and/or web-based systems design and implementation.
- Minimum 8 years development experience. Global development experience is a plus.
- A track record for designing and applying both best-of-breed and "home grown" solutions to meet business objectives on large-scale technology projects.
Evaluating impacts on integration, inter-operability, reliability, performance, scalability, flexibility and maintainability.
- Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with product management, engineering counterparts, and peers.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Technical Bachelor or Masters degree (Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, etc.).
- Experience designing for scalability and performance, and designing/integrating large-scale systems.
- Extensive programing experience in Java, C++, Go
- Prior experience in continuous integration/ Continuous delivery models
