Job Role & Responsibilities
* Works with the Directors of Business and Technical Architect to identify technical solutions and business process improvements in support of the business and IT strategic direction.
* Interacts with business partners to share and direct architecture practices that may affect business solution delivery.
* Ensures that platform(s) supported meet the business, technical and infrastructure needs by overseeing the health and well-being of the technical infrastructure.
* Experience in developing web application using MVC framework's (Spring MVC in particular)
* Experience in arriving solution architecture and building various interfaces to inter speak to ERP, SAP R/3 in particular
* Experience in arriving solution architecture and building mobile application interface for read/write data from/to mobile external storages like SD card etc.,
* Understanding of various SDLC methodologies particularly Agile Reviews estimates for software development and delivery to ensure quality and accuracy.
* Advises Project Management resources on the best time to engage dependent teams (for example, database management teams).
* Responsible for delivery on time based approach with 100% QA programs/tools.
* Assigns development resources and monitors performance across resource channels.
* Works with Directors of Business and Technical Architecture to ensure application development supports the business and IT strategies.
* Manages (monitors and addresses) third party work in terms of quality and adherence to standards.
* Ensures accurate asset information is recorded/documented for the platform/application supported.
* Ensures that the following technical design documentation is completed to a high standard Asset management Strategic design Technical roadmap Development project design.
* This role may be subject to additional background verification checks.
* Candidate should have expertise & experience in Microsoft RAD Tools and Microsoft SQL Server Relational Database (. Net Framework, Visual Studio 2012/2010, SQL Server 2012/2008) and other Microsoft related tools & technologies.
* Candidate must have strong skills & knowledge in .Net Framework 4.5, 4.0 and 2.0, C#, ASP.NET (Web Form, MVC), WCF, WF and client side web development tools & technology (Java Script, JS Library, XML, XSL, AJAX, HTML).
* Candidate must have strong skills & knowledge in MS Enterprise Library, Data Access Techniques, LINQ, ORM (NHibernate, EF4.0, 5.0), IOC & DI Container and MEF.
* Experience and knowledge with Microsoft Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence Applications, SQL Server 2008/2005, PL/SQL, SSIS, SSRS and SSAS
* Experience and knowledge with VSTS & TFS 2012/2010/2008 as Application Lifecycle Management for Work Item Tracking (Agile/Scrum Template), Continuous Integration, Source Control, Code analysis, Test and Build automation.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Cloud offerings (Windows Azure, SQL Azure) and other variants around it.
* Proven knowledge and experience with Agile methodologies Enterprise integration and software development patterns.
* Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing effective procedures and systems requirements that meet business requirements.
* Participate in the feature mapping to technical solution to the requirements from non-technical business users
* Communicate Conceptual, Logical and Operational (Detail) Designs to Client and Development Team.
* Strong customer interaction skills and ability to understand and document customer needs from a business solutions perspective.
* Candidate should be able to provide solution for NFR quality attributes (Availability, Performance, Scalability and Reliability) at the system and component level.
* Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to handle diverse situations, multiple projects.
* Oversee the Capacity Planning, Server infrastructure, User access and application Deployment, Maintenance support Contract handling, client liaisoning.
* A minimum of Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
* Minimum of 5 years of management/ leadership experience in a software development organization required
* Technologies: Asp.net, C#, Webservices, Javascript, SQL / Multithreading, Winforms, XML,WPF,
* In-depth experience with C# / ASP .NET 3.0/4.0 or higher.
* Must have strong hands on experience in Multithreading , ASP.NET, TML/XHTML, JavaScript, CSS.
* Must have experience with unit testing frameworks, code coverage and static code analysis.
* Must have worked in XML, XML Web Services, WSDLs / SOAP and WCF Services.
* Must have strong MS SQL Server 2005/2008 T-SQL programming Design and development experience.
* A high performing, dynamic, multi-tasking and a very strong System Architecture.
* Use architect skills to create n tiered asynchronous large scale applications.
* Ability to work on multiple projects focusing on delivery.
* Enterprise Architecture Framework & Patterns (Zachman, TOGAF, SOA)
* Architectural design, Effort Estimations, Peer review, Impact Analysis identification, Complex Troubleshooting, Problem Identification and Root cause analysis.
* Deployment and support strategies for large enterprise implementations
* Candidate should be able to support pre-sales engagements by identifying and Communicating potential solutions that meet customers' needs within their constraints.
* Solid understanding of Microsoft Pattern and Practices from Inception to Implementations is required.
