JD and Other details:
Software Engineer will responsible for managing and maintaining all Custom Software Applications including standards and design of database, maintenance, and access and security administration, support and performance training. Optimizes database access and allocates/re-allocates database resources for optimum configuration, database performance and cost. Should operate independently and may complete tasks without direct supervision. Should have sense of urgency, is self-motivated, customer oriented, organized and detail oriented.
Requirements Gathering: Work with Business analyst and directly with business owners to convert requirements into functional and technical specs. Provide Timely status to stakeholders. Build deploy Proof of concepts
Application Design / Deployment: Responsible for end to end application from database to front-end according to best practices, build end to end architecture diagrams.
Application Support: Understand all technical aspects of the Applications built by other developers, provide 24 by 7 production support, Document issues to issue log. Recommend and implement long term fix.
Customer Service and Communication. Build good working relationships with users at all facilities to provide appropriate communications between them and the IS department. Develop an understanding of problems that local users face and work with IS management to develop appropriate resolutions. Ensure that end user needs are being met and that their expectations are in line with what has been agreed to be delivered to them regarding system solutions. Provide feedback to appropriate IS resources where end user needs are not being met.
Strong Team Player and Contributor. Work with project teams and the IS department to maintain or exceed quality expectations, deliver on project timelines, control costs
and provide superior customer communication / satisfaction. Work well with colleagues and produce results within a fast-paced and high-pressure atmosphere. Combine strong attention to detail with an orientation towards results/execution.
Hands-on experience developing professional applications using Microsoft .NET (C#) 4.0/4.5/4.6 and .Net Core 2.0 or above. Professional understanding of OOP, architecture designs and patterns. Professional Knowledge of Web API, WCF, LINQ, Entity Framework and ADO.NET Advanced hands-on experience with the latest web standards and technologies ASP.NET MVC 5, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and Angular 4.0 or above. Proficiency in relational databases MSSQL Server 2012. Must be able to create and modify stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, and database links. Advanced experience working with REST and SOAP and data interchange standards including XML and JSON Strong experience in Azure Dev Ops / Team Foundation Server - Team Development including source control management, build processes, unit testing and deployment. Experience developing mobile applications. Experience integrating real time analytics into web/mobile applications. Strong knowledge of practices, methodologies and tools related to the design, development and support of Microsoft solutions. Have or develop working knowledge of Latest Cloud Products/Technologies such as Azure. Promoting process improvement through data management, standardization, and quality. Strong communication skills and ability to convey to others the desired outcome of the design. Proven experience working within a team and supporting collaboration, innovation, and teamwork. Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision. Strong interpersonal skills for dealing with end users Ability to interact with people at all levels of responsibility. Ability to work with confidential information. Ability to read, write and speak English. Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 14001: 2015
