Azure Architect Job Description:
10+ years of experience as solution architect in DWBI, data engineering, Big data technologies
Strong experience in architecture, design and implementation of data solutions in Azure and/or other cloud platforms
Strong experience in Azure ecosystem such as HDInsight, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake and SQL DW
Implementation and migration experience in Hadoop ecosystem such as Spark, Scala, Python, Hive, HDFS.
Background in building traditional data processing and reporting solutions using DW, ETL and BI tools.
Ability to independently drive consulting engagements interacting with technology and business stakeholders
Strong experience in data analysis, profiling and data modelling
Ability to independently drive solutioning covering architecture, security, performance, scalability, infrastructure etc.,
Experience consulting and implementing data governance and data quality management
Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills required.
Preferred: Experience in credit management (debt collection services) domain
Nice to have: Experience in analytics and ML tools such as Azure ML, R/Python or SAS
Nice to have: Experience in implementing data processing solutions in AWS
