Position : Sr Software Engineer (Scientific)
Location : Bangalore
Experience : 5+ yrs
Qualification : Bachelor or Master's Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or in Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering with strong computer science background
Desired Experience
- 5+ years experience in scientific software application development.
- Experience in C#, VB.Net, WinForms, and WPF Programming
- Experience with .NET creating scientific graphs and reports
- Some form of Source Control (SVN or GIT preferred).
- Experience in iterative design and implementation of scientific calculations.
- Ability to work in an Agile Cross Functional Team environment where team members may include Customers, Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Mathematicians, Gear Process Specialists and Gear Machine operators.
- Experience in Scientific Programming using IMSL or other Math Libraries.
- High Speed Fortran/C++ Development in Intel Parallel Studio XE or other
- C++ development using Visual Studio and/or Embarcadero C++ Builder
- Experience in using Graphics Programming using OpenGL, DirectX, Eyeshot, etc.
- Experience in Database Programming using XML, SQL, Firebird, PostgreSQL, etc.
- Education or Experience in Applied Mathematics for Engineering
- Desire to Work in a fast paced Research and Development Environment
- Familiarity and/or Interest in the High Tech Machine Tools Industry
