SQL Experience: 5 years (Understand data modeling, joins, aggregations)
Data Warehouse: 5 years (Understand Kimbal or Inmon approach, explaining how the data is organized)
Back-End developer: 5 Years (Prefer hands-on experience unit, integration and end-to-end testing instead of delegating testing to Quality Assurance team)
Spark: 3 Years
Scala: 3 Years
Big Data: 2 Years (Understand various tools like Hive, HBase, and Kafka along with methodologies such as schema on read)
Core competency:
Demonstrated 2+ years experience in non-relational (NoSQL, MongoDB, HBase, Hive, Redis, Neo4J etc..,) and relational Data Warehouses
At least 2 year hands-on working experience with one or more of the following technologies: Hadoop, Pig, Hive, HBase, Sqoop, Zookeeper, Ambari, Mapreduce
At least 2 year hands-on development on Spark and map reduce related technologies
At least 5 years hands on development on Core Java. UI developers need not apply
Vendors such as Cloudera/Hortonworks
Understanding benefits of data warehousing, data architecture, data quality processes, data warehousing design and implementation, table structure, fact and dimension tables, logical and physical database design, data modelling, reporting process metadata, and ETL processes
Experience designing and implementing reporting for unstructured and structured data sets
Experience designing and developing data cleansing routines utilizing typical data quality functions involving standardization, transformation, rationalization, linking and matching
