- Should be able to Write well designed, testable, efficient java code
- Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java J2EE
- Ability to develop high volume, low latency applications for critical applications delivering high availability and performance
- Object oriented analysis and design using common design patterns
- Profound knowledge in using Java J2EE internals (Class loading, Memory management, transaction management)
- Excellent knowledge relational databases, SQL
- Experience in Spring Framework
- Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web frame work
- Contribute in all phases of the development life cycle
- Ensure designs follow specifications
- Prepare and produce releases of software components
- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review
- Experience with test driven development
