Position Information: Company:- One of the leading in in partnership with the world's leading investment banks (They are an investment technology firm transforming the way Wall Street firms collaborate on research, financial models and other services) Location: Mumbai Experience: 7 - 12 Years Please note: The position requires the person to work in night shifts (8:30pm - 5:30am) Job Description: 1.Hands on application support experience, preferably in an investment banking firm 2.Hands on experience using monitoring tools like nagios, cacti, sentry, grafana etc., shell scripting 3.Good understanding of the REST protocol, API driven design approach, JSON and XML formats 4.Desire to craft custom application monitoring solutions where none exist using open source code 5.Ability to debug production logs in real time and investigate issues including performance issues 6.Knowledge of any one programming language: C# or Python would be great but something like Ruby or Java works too 7.Knowledge of any one RDBMS: SQL Server or MySQL or PostgresSQL 8.Extreme process oriented: comfortable with enterprise tools like JIRA, Confluence 9.Able to build a small team of application support engineers and mentor them 10.Ability to work in US or UK shifts as applicable 11.Outstanding communication skills If you are interested then send your updated CV with below details on nitin.p@assortstaffing.com Current CTC: ?
