Job Description
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and develop web applications for customers using Design and develop web applications for customers using ASP.NET, MVC, SQL, jQuery, JSON.
Perform requirement gathering, business analysis, estimation, development and implementation activities.
Design, develop, maintain and enhance systems based on business requirements using approved technologies and coding standards.
Monitor and optimize systems by using best practices for performance tuning and code optimization to ensure best performance.
Document component design artifacts that include flowcharts, diagrams and low-level programming details to illustrate sequence of steps to be followed to develop proposed solution.
Perform unit testing using tools like MSTest, NUnit.
Document code appropriately for maintainability.
Communicate with product owners and business analysts to gather accurate specifications for new enhancements and applications.
Assist with work estimating based on requirements and technical designs.
Translate requirements and use cases into technical designs and functional code.
Collaborate with different teams and team members on projects.
Act as a mentor to other developers with programming issues.
Perform design and code reviews and help maintain code quality, performance and application responsiveness.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
5+ years web development experience.
Strong understanding of object-oriented design, web application architecture and relational database design.
Proficient in ASP.NET, MVC 3 or higher (Razor & ASPX), C# with solid understanding of their ecosystem.
Strong hands-on using SQL with an ability to write SQL queries and stored procedures.
Experience working on MSBI-SSIS, MSBI-SSRS.
Client-side scripting experience with JavaScript frameworks, such as jQuery.
Experience using JSON, CSS, CSS OOPS, AJAX, Entity Framework 4.0 or higher, LINQ.
Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio (MVS) and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
Experience using Team Foundation Server (TFS) for work management.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
