Openings for Technical Architect or Developer ( Microsoft Azure) - Bangalore ( Min 12 Months Contract)
Job description:
We are looking for a hands-on technical architect with specific experience in developing applications based in Microsoft Azure PaaS (App Services, Service Bus, etc) developing in the .NET Core Framework, SQL Server developing REST APIs.
Main Accountabilities
Software Development
-Own the development of backend features for One View
-Development and delivery of features for a series of major and minor releases through the year as specified by the product roadmap
-Work with the entire development team to ensure features are integrated successfully into the relevant release candidate
-Ensures the performance, quality and responsiveness of the application
Database maintenance
-Enhancements and evolution of the central database
-Technical development tasks needed on the Database to deliver product innovation
-Ensure high performance and responsiveness of requests from the front-end
Component Integration -Development of the server-side web application logic
-Integration of APIs to deliver end-to-end functionality
-Delivering code through environments
-Merging different code branches together into a single release candidate
Team Collaboration-Work with broader development team and Scrum Master as one team
-Share knowledge with other members of development team to optimise teams performance
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in one of the following disciplines
- Computer Science
- Or a related degree in programming.
- (Ideally) MCSD: Azure Solutions Architect
Skills
- Excellent practical experience of
Server side CSS pre-processors (e.g. SASS)
Databases (Microsoft SQL Server)
Developing apps in Microsoft Azure Platform as a Service (PaaS)
Testing Approaches (TDD and BDD)
Delivering on multiple delivery platforms (Web vs. Mobile Native) and optimising output to match the specific platform
Source control; i.e. Bit Bucket
Microsoft .NET Framework (Core and 4.6.2)
Continuous Integration using Team City
Management of Azure hosting environment including scaling to support load changes
Azure Devops with ARM templates / Powershell
