Position : Principal Software Engineer
Required Qualifications:
• BE/B.Tech or equivalent.
• 5 â€" 12 years of development experience preferably in a product development company.
• Strong knowledge of Core Java fundamentals like Multithreading, Collections, Exception Handling, Concurrent Package, Generics, JVM tuning etc.
• Need to be strong in Data Structures, Algorithms and Design Patterns.
• Strong in XML based technologies.
• Strong Knowledge of RDBMS and SQL experience.
• Good Communication skills.
• Exposure to SOA and JEE enterprise solution implementations
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
 Working with Application Servers like Weblogic, Websphere, and Tomcat etc.
 Performance tuning (Analyzing Thread Dumps, Java Profilers etc).
 Exposure to HTML and UI technologies like Javascript
 Exposure to Industry standard decisioning frameworks / analytical tools
Description of Essential Duties and Responsibilities
High level responsibility description that captures all bulleted duties in this section.
 Designing and implementing new features adhering to the best practices.
 Actively participate in Design of other features worked upon by the team members, ensure that the design is conceived by the Engineering Leads and Architects.
 Unit testing (Automation/Manual Testing).
 Bug fixing.
 Actively participating in all Sprint meetings such as Grooming, Planning, Review and Retrospectives etc., mainly understand how the current feature is supposed to be used
 Ability to influence ELs / Architects on new product innovation and implementations
Technology leadership
 Provide help and guidance to junior associates in the team to perform their tasks
 Fixing customer bugs and helping customer support as needed
 Manage escalations in delivery expectations
 Develop Subject Matter Expertise in the related areas of Decision Engine
 Feedback: Actively participate in preparing and giving technical and/or product feature presentations to Internal and External Customers, Pre-Sales etc
 Produce white papers on important topics in Decisioning and Analytics
