Position: Software Project Lead
Experience - 7-10 Years
Location: Gurgaon
Software Project Lead
Require extremely talented, energetic, ambitious Project Leader to join our top tier Information Systems & Technology organization to work with state of the art tools and technology developing solutions.Supports the efforts, within a discipline, in information systems including application development and support, database administration, software quality assurance/quality control or software engineering. Performs assignments that require initiative and limited independent judgment in the selection and use of established principles and procedures. Develops professional work knowledge and abilities through the application of standard information systems methodology, techniques, procedures and criteria. Exercises limited but increasing judgment in performing assigned tasks.
Permanent Position
* Supports the efforts within application development, maintenance and support.
* Build solutions that comply with company software quality assurance/quality or software engineering standards.
* Performs assignments that require initiative, innovation to find solution.
* Develops professional work knowledge and abilities through the application of standard information systems methodology, techniques, procedures and criteria.
* Exercises appropriate judgment in performing assigned tasks.
* Manages the team and ensure the timely and quality delivery.
* Codes and debugs software applications in accordance with Bechtel's Software Development Methodology Framework, Enterprise and Application Architecture, and the Software Development Standards.
* Analyzes, maintains and implements (including performance maintenance and timing) existing software applications and develops programming specifications from business requirements.
* Creates design specification, test plans and automated test scripts for individual work scope.
* Coordinate projects with different cross-functional teams.
* Proactively contribute to design and make recommendations wherever appropriate.
Basic Qualifications and skills
* Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering
* 9-10 years of software development experience using Microsoft technologies such as .NET, ASP.NET, SQL Server, Oracle, Visual Studio, etc.
* 7-8 years of web development experience and 2-3 yrs of Silverlight development experience
* Possess very strong OOP, .NET and troubleshooting skills
* Should be able and willing to code in both C# and VB.NET
* 1-2 years of experience with angular JS and Typescript will be given preference.
* Should have experience with debugging and coding T-SQL for SQL Server along with strong SQL querying skills
* Should have SSRS exposure and some experience
