Job Description:
Summary
The Software Team Lead is responsible for managing all aspects of cloud development (SaaS) related to a small team of Developers. As the Team Lead you are responsible to promote an entrepreneurial environment that encourages technical know-how, innovation, teamwork, and creativity. As a hands-on manager you build valuable business and call center solutions and complex data integrations between Microsoft products (Office365, Dynamics365, Azure) and NICE inContact, and other business systems for our customers. (S)He works on technical solutions including architecture, design, and development of software applications.
Is responsible for the output and quality of the team, and will continually improve Agile process to ensure that the development of new products adhere to company process and quality standards. Works with project team to ensure projects are completed on time, on budget and our Customers are delighted with our software products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Supervise the entire lifecycle of software development using Microsoft development tools including:
o Drive adoption of Agile development methodologies with team
o Prioritizing features based on increasing Software value and stability of product
• Define, develop and deliver business automation solutions using Microsoft CRM software.
• Able to build useful business functionality, streamlined user interfaces, and integration with between separate business systems.
• Software testing and quality assurance
• Performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, automation.
• Support, maintain and document software functionality
• Work with a multi-functional team to define product release requirements.
• Establish department goals, and meet with team members monthly to ensure goals are met and performance expectation are established and communicated.
• Identify inefficiencies for team evaluations and report findings to management team.
• Managing the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
• Ensure that the voice of the customer is clearly articulated and communicated across all teams and is the primary driver of roadmap and technology decisions
• Work with Development team to define, develop and deliver valuable business automation solutions using Microsoft CRM software.
• Define, implement, and maintain standards compliance
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Competencies

• Excellent programming skills including: .NET, C#, HTML, XML, SQL, Script, and other development skills
• Excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to communicate with team members and customers at all levels Strong quality and project management skill, use of JIRA preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of the Agile Development process
• Microsoft Dynamics CRM and NICE in Contact administration, implementation, customization, or usage
• Strong business acumen, including a strong Customer Relationship Management software background.
• Ability to accomplish challenging goals in fast paced environment.
