Job Description:
Position: Wintel Lead
Experience: 10 to 20yrs.
Responsibilities:
ââ¬Â¢ Designing, Migration and Transition of Exchange from 2003 to 2007 and 2010 and from 2007 to 2010
ââ¬Â¢ Installing main ting and managing different types of Mailbox Cluster like LCR, SCC, CCR and SCR.
ââ¬Â¢ Managing & Maintaining and disaster recovery of Exchange server and Database by using ESEUTIL
ââ¬Â¢ Managing & Maintaining and disaster recovery Transport server queue Database by using ESEUTIL
ââ¬Â¢ Creating hub transport rules, providing different level of access as per the business requirement
ââ¬Â¢ Sizing the Exchange and Active directory infrastructure as per the customer environment
ââ¬Â¢ Configuring Windows 2008 RODC foreign location (Singapore & Dubai etc. location)
ââ¬Â¢ Designing, Migration and Transition of AD infra from windows 2003 to windows 2008 and R2. (In place Migration and transition)
ââ¬Â¢ Implementing, Managing and Maintaining Win2K3/Win2K8 Active Directory services like DNS, DHCP, RODC, CA certificates and
ââ¬Â¢ Implementing, Managing and Maintaining Exchange 2007 /2010 (Mailbox, HUB, CAS and Edge Server roles)
ââ¬Â¢ Managing and monitoring Lync 2010
ââ¬Â¢ Configuring Maintaining, managing and Troubleshooting Windows NLB.
ââ¬Â¢ Running EXBPA and event log backup on all exchange servers weekly and their analysis and necessary actions,
ââ¬Â¢ Generating all kind of report of messaging using Exchange Command shell, CSVDE
ââ¬Â¢ Handling all the messaging issues, which are escalated by incident team,
ââ¬Â¢ Tracking the inbound and outbound messages,
ââ¬Â¢ Enabling Performance monitor on Servers and Exchange & Performing Server Trend Analysis & Provided suggestions on Capacity Planning,
ââ¬Â¢ Perform proactive maintenance of log file growth on exchange server & take immediate action based on the criticality.
ââ¬Â¢ Working in Major incident, Problem and Change management calls & resolving various issues in Windows ADS 2003/2008, Exchange 2007 / 2010, with in SLA, with proper POA, RCA as per the ITIL process.
ââ¬Â¢ Analyzing the requirement & Implementing new group policies through AD with proper change management process, providing POA & RCA for major incidents.
ââ¬Â¢ Implemented & Managing Security policies on Windows Server 2003/2008 and R2 by OS hardening based on the customer requirement & patch deployment.
ââ¬Â¢ Bulk import and export of AD and Exchange Data using Exchange Power Shell,
ââ¬Â¢ Analyzing OS related error events.
ââ¬Â¢ Managing recipient & system policies for applying various levels of restrictions on Exchange and AD
ââ¬Â¢ Server hardware related issues & providing verbal support to bring the server up.
ââ¬Â¢ Coordinating with vendor Microsoft for Escalated issues
ââ¬Â¢ Completing the given task with proper POA within the given time as per the customer SLA
ââ¬Â¢ Ability to handle multiple issues & coordination as per the customer requirement
ââ¬Â¢ Excellent Communication, Presentation & Inter-personal relation skills with leadership qualities
