Description
An experienced Database Developer is required to join a high profile team based in Hyderabad . The ideal candidate will have an in depth understanding of SQL Server and recent experience working on data warehouse applications.
The successful candidate:-
* must have a proven ability to think creatively, and work autonomously providing full and thorough documentation
* will be able to understand the environment quickly in order to be functional in a short period of time
* must have in-depth understanding of modern practices and methods
* must be able to mentor other members of his/her team
Essential Skills
* Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in a technical / IT field
* Informatica UM, RulePoint, PowerCenter
* Expert level SQL Server Inc., database design, T-SQL, stored procedures (up to SQL Server ver 2012)
* Microsoft SQL BI Tools (SSRS, SSIS)
* Dimension Modelling - Kimball Methodologies
* Dashboard Design / Reporting
Desirable Skills
* Microsoft SQL BI Tools - SSAS
* MS Sql server performance tuning, optimization
* TDD/BDD + Agile, Scrum & Kanban
* Data Visualisation Tools - Splunk , Tableau, Qlikview
* Some knowledge of Oracle/PL-SQL
* Some experience of Web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery)
* Some experience of SOAP and REST Web Services using WCF
* Some experience of C# / .Net
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a technical / IT field
