**Location Trivandrum, India. This position may require 100% travel and or relocation.
Qualifications Basic
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 5 years of experience in Information Technology
Preferred
• Provide Production and Non production 24*7 support for an automotive retailer.
• Serve as a proficient technical and problem solving resource.
• Provide technical knowledge and capabilities as a member of a project team or as an individual contributor.
• Consult with end users to determine optimal configuration of applications.
• Exercise judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Use and apply basic principles, concepts and techniques.
• Interact and liaison with offshore or onshore technical support and development teams.
• Experience in supporting large scale applications and meet Support SLAs
• Excellent communication and English speaking and writing skills a must.
• Must be proficient in the following technologies: SQL Server (versions 2000, 2012), C#.NET,VB
• Knowledge of Clarion will be commendable.
• Very strong .net skills and ability to decipher dependencies and job configurations.
• Rerun of reports, investigations with log files etc.
• Interact with other tech teams such as AS400 Sys Admins, Networking groups, DBAs, Compliance, Security, and Change Management.
• Plan, Perform and support complex deployments.
• Interact with our Onsite and offshore teams and provide instructions, documentation and training of new procedures and processes that are instituted onshore.
• Interact with Developers to ensure KT of any new processes has been accurately and sufficiently communicated to our support teams.
• Interact with the Operations team to meet their reasonable needs for daily processing.
• Maintain metrics to provide useful and meaningful reports required by management.
• Help perform and transition day to day functionality to an automated solution. Experience and understanding of in Production support and performance engineering.
