Customers include newspapers, magazines, book publishers, advertising agencies and corporate marketing departments from around the world.

About the job
Our Client is a stock content business with over 90 million images, videos and illustrations. They have thousands of contributors uploading tens of thousands of images a day. They have millions of visits to and searches on their web site each month.All this activity runs on platforms developed and maintained by our software team based here in Trivandrum.
As the content and traffic levels increase, so does the drive for more services and more personalisation. To help them handle this increased workload, we are looking for a technical architect to join the team. It will provide you the opportunity to use a variety of technologies including AWS (DynamoDB, SQS, Lambda and ElastiCache), ASP.net and C#. You will also be highly influential in choosing what technologies they use next.
If appointed, you will :
• Closely work with Development head in UK to create and maintain high-availability, scalable and robust service frameworks to support their business applications
• Provide technical architecture design and implementation guidance for multiple projects
• Learn new technology concepts swiftly and comprehensively and evaluate their realistic potential for adoption
• Create, own and maintain appropriate Software Architectural documentation
• Evaluate how security concerns impact the design & development process of various solutions
• Coach team members on analyzing and developing solution options
Candidate Profile
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Masters in Computer Application
• At least 10 years technical IT experience, of which at least 3 years working as a software/solution architect designing and implementing large-scale systems
• Proven experience in architecting with SaaS environment
• Experience with Enterprise Architecture Frameworks like TOGAF or FEAM is preferred
• Solid background in web development with technologies like ASP.net and C#
• Hands-on experience with AWS including technologies like DynamoDB, SQS, Lambda and ElastiCache
• A good knowledge of the security operations, standards and issues involved in multi-tier, multi-tenant web applications
• Track record of being proactive, identifying gaps, making constructive suggestions and taking ownership through to resolution
• Technically strong, enthusiastic and ready to take technical challenges
• Great written and verbal communication skills
