Job description:
• At least 10 years of experience with Information Technology in developing/architecting applications/services in one or more of the tech streams (JEE, MSFT, Open Source)
• Understanding of architectural patterns and experience in defining architectures for IT systems that are highly available and scalable
• Strong Object Oriented and Service Driven design skills with a thorough understanding of software design
• Experience in a full-stack development environment spanning technologies across UI, Business Logic, Data and Integration layers
• Experience in developing single page web application using JavaScript (Angular, React, Vue) based Frameworks/libraries
• Experience in Micro Services and APIs, including high volume data stream processing and enabling high speed data reads/write-through using distributed caching frameworks / IMDBs,
• Experience in choosing the best fit SQL/NoSQL Databases, design and development on one or more of the following - Cassandra, Couch, Mongo, Redis; Ability to architect these DB platforms for HA and DR while taking care of data scalability, performance, replication, back-ups, archival etc
• Working knowledge of one or more of the tools like Eclipse, Maven, Git coupled with Test Driven Development and Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) related tools such as Jenkins
• Experience in Architecture, design and implementation of business functionality / applications on one or more cloud platforms (Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, PCF, Heroku etc) that leverage the very latest in cloud native technologies
• Experience working on Big Data platforms (Hadoop / its cloud variants) along with data governance is a plus
• Experience using ML and DL algorithms is a plus
• Experience working on Agile based projects,
• Sound Analytical and Communication skills is a must
Responsibilities-
• Provide technology leadership to projects and programs
• Assist in defining scope and sizing of work
• Understand project goals, provide best-fit architectural solutions and implement the solution
• Guide and mentor team members as well as provide technology consulting to other projects
• Undertake coding of prototypes to demonstrate feasibility of technical solution
• Undertake coding assignments for critical pieces of functionality, help in performance tuning and trouble-shooting, code reviews etc to ensure quality technical product
• Creation of reusable and differentiated assets
• Participate in competency development and in growing the team size
• Creating artifacts that demonstrate thought leadership within the area of technology specialization and in compliance with guidelines, policies and norms of Infosys.
