The candidate will be responsible for technical leadership for all Jave/J2ee deliveries and will also be required to provide support and guidance to the operations team.
Location: Manyata tech park Experience: 9+ Years
Roles and Responsibilities:
Ability to technically lead a team and drive the technical implementation for project delivery
From a broader set of technical requirements, provide estimates and support in the schedule of technical tasks
Identify the low-level development tasks and ensure correct implementation by the team by ensuring right approaches, standards, processes are followed
Ensure that based on the provided design specifications, the team develop web services, transformation mappings and integration flows correctly
Provide detailed documentation/annotations on WSDLs to describe the usage scenario
Ensure that design & code reviews and walkthroughs are conducted
Resolve & guide the dev team on technical issues faced during design & development
Have a clear inclination towards automation of the design, development, test and deployment processes to enhance the rapid delivery of services.
Ensure that existing coding guidelines, standards and best practices are followed and applied by development teams.
Skills:
Object oriented software design & development experience with JAVA, JEE technologies
Strong knowledge in XML technologies like XSD, XPath, XQuery, XSL, XSLT, etc
Design & Development experience in Spring, JSP, Servlets, JMS, AJAX, DOM, SAX , JPA, OpenJPA, SQL, ANT, Maven, log4j, Junit, HTML, Javascript
Working experience in Java IDEs - Eclipse/WSAD
Knowledge on DB - Oracle and MySQL
Good understanding of ReST APIs and integration with web services
