Job Description - Experience Level - 5 to 10yrs • 5+ years of technical and network design experience with in a large enterprise environment • 5+ years of experience in various routing technologies (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS) • 3+ years of related experience with Cisco products (routing/switching--Nexus Series, Catalyst, etc.) or relevant experience in key competitor offerings (i.e. Juniper J/M/E Series) • 2+ years of experience in low latency technologies preferred (Nexus 3k, Arista, Voltaire, etc) • Experience in analysis of business system requirements in a multi-platform distributed environment • Experience with the following technologies : IP Routing, Ethernet Switching, VPN's, Security, QoS, Remote/Local Access, IBM SNA, Multi-Service (Voice and Video), Campus/MAN, WAN, Optical Networking, IP Services (DNS, Web Proxy, Socks), Multicast, Firewall (PIX, Checkpoint), geographic and/or local server load balancing • Network certifications (Cisco or Juniper) are preferred • Experience in shell scripting (Bash, KSH) or other program language (Perl, Python, etc) • Experience in configuration management/automation.
