Job Description:
Essential Functions:
- Hands on the design, development, testing of applications written in high level languages (C#, ASP.Net, VB.NET) with limited guidance from manager or software architect.
- Analyzes requirements for feasibility, implementation strategy, and provides estimates.
- Contribute to team development efforts towards successful project delivery.
- Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits.
- Develop conceptual designs and detailed designs in accordance with established engineering processes, submit design and code for reviews, and update the designs as required as a result of reviews.
- Takes initiative and works independently under minimal supervision.
- Maintains existing application codebase, performs refactoring as needed to provide highly reliable solutions
- Prepare build packages and Installers
- Making necessary documentation as per corporate’s engineering software NPI process guidelines and end user level product
- Collaborates with Technical Leads, Architects, and Cross functional teams to ensure that design meets overall system objectives.
- Interface with clients when needed.
- Thoroughly knowledgeable with all aspects of software development lifecycles
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies& apply them
- Strong analytic and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
· Excellent time management skills, including multi-tasking and prioritization.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Required:
Ø B.Tech/BE or ME/M.Tech in Computer Science with 3 to 5+ years of working experience in
building Windows & Web based applications with strong competencies in database ,algorithms, data structures & object oriented programming.
Ø Strong knowledge on
o C#.Net, ASP.Net, VB.Net, Framework 4.0 or higher, OOAD
o Database programming using MS SQL Server
o Experience with web based development; HTML, XML, XSLT, Javascript, Jquery, etc
Thoroughly knowledgeable with all aspects of software development lifecycles
Ability to quickly learn new technologies & apply them
Strong analytic and problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills
Excellent time management skills, including multi-tasking and prioritization
Preferred:
Experience in Agile development methodology and hands on VSTS
Hands on WPF with MVVM design pattern. Strong knowledge on using Crystal Reports
Working knowledge on creating deployment packages using Windows Installer & WIX
Toolset
Experience in handling multi-threaded applications & performance tuning of applications
Physical Demands:
Frequent sitting
Travel may be required
