Manager who has deep knowledge of SQL Server Database Administration and Windows servers.
• Mandatory experience required in managing Service Delivery and Operations
• Technical and hands-on knowledge of Windows Server, VMware, OS Patching and network would be added advantage
• Knowledge of Team Management processes
• A self-starter with ability to work with minimal or no supervision.
• Provide a complete view of the overall project to the organization and all stakeholders.
• Ability to manage and drive projects from offshore
• Exhibit proactive behavior by engaging in planning activities, including but not limited to: defining the overall scope of the service; creating and maintaining a consolidated timeline highlighting the major milestones; identifying and communicating dependencies and impacts; putting mechanisms in place to set expectations and ensure on-going control of the service by collecting and analyzing metrics to create improvement areas
• Define service governance; outlining roles and responsibilities and decision rights
• Keep all stakeholders (internal & external) engaged in the service, aligned to expected outcomes and informed about what is occurring throughout project
• Excellent communication skills to lead and facilitate project meetings, scope sessions and review sessions with project stakeholders. Ability to assimilate while working with team spread across geographical locations. Exposure of working with Australia team would be a plus.
• Ensure transparency throughout project lifecycle by proactively communicating progress on an on-going basis. Provide leadership and key stakeholders with the information and venues to make effective, timely decisions
• Deliver accurate weekly reports with project status.
• Well versed with Change Control Processes, Risk Management, Estimation techniques, WBS creation and project metrics.
• Conduct regular project meetings with team members to ensure project is staying on schedule, complete with agendas and minutes.
• Ability to monitor and control project to meet the triple constraints of cost, quality and schedule.
• Ability to influence without authority, interface and manage relationships across-organizational boundaries.
• Leadership skills to inspire, motivate, and enable project team to deliver successful projects.
• Role demands flexibility to work in Australia time zone to provide overlap
• Willingness to travel short term (International/Domestic) based on project requirements.
• Ability to assist in the budget planning for assigned projects
• Previous experience and knowledge of US Banking and financial services would be preferred
