Roles and Responsibilities:- Effective Program Manager/Project Manager with record of successful launching, directing and managing of large scale programs in a firm by performing management functions such as, planning, scheduling, organizing, and tracking processes, ensuring the feasibility of each project.
- Actively involved in Analysis, Design, and Development, onsite-offshore co-ordination, client demos, planning & execution, status calls and status reports, estimations, work allocations, process models and pre sales.
- Proven skills in managing/ leading onsite and offshore high performing team members throughout the project lifecycle (under tough deadlines)& motivating team to meet expectations of multiple customers.
- As a product Manager should do the effective product research and do the competitor analysis.
- As agile-scrum product owner delivered multiple projects for agile methodologies for 2 week iterations.
- Adept at leading/managing cross-functional programs; along with sound organizational ability and multi-tasking skills.
- Willing to establish credibility and rapport with senior executives and technical and non-technical team members alike
- Understands the onsite / offshore model and delivered at least 4 to 5 large programs in the similar capacity
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Willing to prioritize tasks effectively with a high-level of attention
- Willing to quickly define dependencies, issues, and outline mitigation plans against risks
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- Code review and Document review Problem Solving when P1 issues raised..
- Knowledge and experience using common project management tools: e.g. spreadsheets, MS Project, Visio, PowerPoint
- Practical demonstrated experience in design and development of applications with major web development frameworks, including Java EE (JSP, Servlets, and JPA), J2EE, JVM internals, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Query, AJAX; must have experience designing and implementing with Struts, Spring and other MVC framework.
- Must have strong web service integration skills (SOAP, WSDL protocols, REST, Axis, and UDDI).
- Experience designing and implementing with persistence frameworks such as Hibernate or other ORM / JPA.
- Experience adhering and enforcing strict software quality coding standards and best practices including version control, issue tracking, continuous integration in a test driven development; experience with reviewing others code, delivering constructive criticism and assisting developers with making changes/fixes.
- Demonstrated strong problem solving ability, logic and analytical skills; ability to prioritize work and participate in a number of projects simultaneously.
- Good technical aptitude and sharp at learning and using new technologies.
- Design and develop components and software products in a Java EE environment, applying industry standards to ensure performance scalability, stability, maintainability and reliability;
- Advocate best practices; engage and inspire junior developers through code reviews, coaching and mentorship.
- Analyze the business requirements to develop requirements specification documents.
- Troubleshoots production problems related to software products.
- Designs and develops new software products or major enhancements to existing software.
