Travel Tripper is a Web 2.0 company in the hotel technology space, with a mission to help hotels maximize direct sales through their own B2C websites. The core mission and focus of our company is to maximize demand for our customers and achieve the highest e-commerce conversion rates in our industry.

You will make a major contribution to the design and implementation of our next generation of industry leading applications. You are a highly motivated self-starter who loves ownership and responsibility while working in a collaborative and inter-dependent team environment. You will leverage your deep and extensive experience in building world class software across all tiers of our system.
Current initiatives we have are: Designing the next generation of our core server, (Database design, Transaction support, Performance/Scalability and more); Develop our Mobile platform; Evaluate our UI Architecture/Frameworks; Enhance our Dynamic Pricing Engine; Design and implement a cohesive architecture leveraged across all channels (web-desktop; mobile; system-to-system messaging and integration); Develop our social media integration platform.
Responsibilities
Design and implement high quality cutting edge software
Own a major component of our product suite
Commit to highest quality standards by delivering comprehensive unit tests along with production code
Contribute to overall engineering team efforts on cohesive architecture and design
Monitor support tickets created by customers; Characterize the incidents, reproduce, diagnosis and analyse the root cause
The ideal candidate possesses not only a variety of technical knowledge but also excellent prioritization and troubleshooting skills.
Represent Travel Tripper to customers and partners as required Requirements
BS/MS or equivalent experience
5+ years experience delivering highly scalable, consumer facing SAAS applications
Expert in core Java and JEE middleware stack (Hibernate; Spring; Tomcat/Jetty; RDBMS)
Demonstrable expertise in OO design and implementation
3+ years with product companies in a various stage of growth and success
Strong organizational, prioritization and communication skills
Desired Experience
Web performance testing and profiling
Experience designing or implementing web and mobile UI frameworks
Cloud computing and distributed computing
Prior knowledge and experience building hospitality industry technology
