Profile: Operations. Wide Compliance and Legal Technology (FWCL)Title: Java Developer Location: Mumbai Position Description The Firm-Wide Compliance and Legal Technology Program (FWCL), within the Legal, Compliance and Regulatory Technology Division (LCR), provides a broad array of tools and services to support the day-to-day operations of the Anti-Corruption/Financial Crimes, Firm Compliance, Litigation, and Information Management groups. Candidate will be working on existing and new initiatives within the FWCL suite of applications. Initiatives include a new project in progress that is build using a reusable Java based framework. The candidate will be required to have strong hands on experience on Core Java and should be comfortable writing SQL. Exposure to Big Data technologies will be an additional advantage. The candidate will be also working with global teams to understand and implement complex business use cases. This will require strong communication and interpersonal skills. This FTC position will be based in Mumbai, India. Skills Required-5+ years of hands on experience on Java/J2EE-Strong PL/SQL and database knowledge-Linux, Unix, Shell Scripting-Strong Database skills including SQL, procedures and query tuning-Service Design Concepts, OO and Functional Development concepts. -Strong oral and written communication skills-Strong analytical and problem solving skills Skills Desired-Perl Scripting-Web Services, XML, REST, SOAP, JSON -Design Patterns.
