Experience: 5 years Location: Hyderabad • Responsible for the planning, development, execution, maintenance and management of MS SQL Server database s in support of IT Business Application Solution and Service Delivery.  • The right candidate will have experience supporting SQL environments and possess expert understanding of the SQL Server Architecture, administration and security arenas and will demonstrate advanced SQL query techniques in addition to experience with OLTP and OLAP environments. • Primary job duties will include support for Business Application & Business Intelligence developers as well as maintenance and administration of the live production SQL Server instances. Key Skills Required: SQL Server 2005, 2008, 2012, 2014 Database Administration Database Tuning Database Management Database Security, RDBMS Essential Functions: • Providing SQL Server database administration, application tuning, database security and production support for critical systems with high availability requirements. • Installing, upgrading and maintaining SQL Server instances. • Planning and executing database backup and recovery • Providing database tuning for performance and stability • Managing physical database design and implementation, database security implementation and monitoring • Using clients its change management processes to prevent production disruptions and outages Researching and recommending solutions that best meet business needs and Enterprise operational requirements • Partnering with other IT teams to ensure quality support and delivery to the end-user. • This position participates in an on-call support for the critical systems. • Working with Application support, Server Support, Storage Support and Networking teams to tune and debug SQL Environment.
