Job Description:
Responsibilities
OPERATIONS ( Deployment, Production Issues)
Coordinate with Operations Team to handover new releases/patch
releases. Provide relevant information, documentation about new system
Plan and Provide required support to Operations team during Production
deployment, Post-deployment in collaboration with Technical Leads
SUPPORT CASES
Review Support Cases, Collaborate with Product Owner to understand
priority and expected release version no
Prepare plan to release fixes as per scheduled time frame
INTERNAL CUSTOMER
Collaborate with Internal Customers, understand product gap, prepare
backlog
Collect Capture Performance/Efficiency data generated in production,
review report, understand gaps, generate backlog on a regular basis
DEVELOPMENT
Participate in design and architecture meetings
Drive collaboration across the Solution Design Team and Scrum teams to
ensure team understands solutions in context of larger picture and
implications of feature to customer. Resolve if there is any gap in
understanding
Prepare execution plan for product feature release in collaboration with
Scrum Master, Tech Leads
Ensure product features are released as per schedule and with high
quality
Ensure teams are working on planned initiatives, with clear
understanding and expectations of milestones and goals
Review test plan to ensure the quality of new/patch releases. Assist team
in the troubleshooting/reporting/prioritization of issues encountered
during testing
Ensure technical quality standards / benchmarks for Capture Components
are met in every release. Plan and execute remedial action if there are
shortfalls
Ensure Product development processes and code quality standards are
followed during development and release cycle
Ensure architecture design artifacts are created/updated during
development and release cycle
Establish an in-depth awareness of new tools, processes, new product
features across team
PEOPLE & PROCESS
Participate in hiring for the Group
Responsible for onboarding of new person and integration into the
team
Understand training needs for team members and plan in collaboration
with reporting manager
Ensure Process Compliance for security, audit etc
Be updated on latest technologies, tools to increase velocity of
development
Identify infrastructure requirements of team and propose to reporting
manager
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
12+ years of experience in Software Industry. Minimum 8+ years of
experience in Product Based Software Development Company, 8+ years of
Software Development experience in C++
Strong technical knowledge: OOP, Data Structure, Algorithms
Nice to have : Concept of Document Image Solutions ( OCR ), Machine
learning
5+ years of experience of leading a development team
Must have experience in designing product components
Good knowledge of Engineering Processes
Self-motivated with a passion for problem solving
Good communication skills, both spoken and written
Good collaboration and interpersonal skills
Experience of working in a cross-functional Agile team
Experience of various automated testing, continuous integration and deployment
tools and practices
Experience in managing/mentoring people
Extensive and consistent experience of delivering projects throughout their
life-cycle.
Ability to anticipate and build contingency plans
Ability to handle stressful situations with perseverance and professionalism
Proactive in pre-empting issues and problems
Understanding of US Mortgage processes and/or similar financial industry is
an added advantage
