JOB DESCRIPTION:
A senior software developer will be responsible for the coding and unit testing of assigned work by understanding business requirements and associated design in technologies like ASP.NET 4.5/4.0/3.5/2.0, VB.NET, ADO.NET, C#, SQL Server 2005 / 2008 / 2012, AJAX, DOT NET Framework with minimum supervision. The position is responsible for understanding business requirements, creating design, explaining the design to software developers, coding and unit testing (Manual or Using Tools like NUnit)
Resource with high career goals aspirations and must be ready to travel onsite to client location to execute projects in onsite-offshore model.
Resource must have worked on client projects and should be able to understand client needs. Should be able to prioritize tasks and provide inputs in estimation, if required. Knowledge of CMMi / ISO processes is an added advantage. Excellent communication skills are a must.

EXPERIENCE:
Required 5+ years of related experience
EDUCATION:
*16 Years of Education is a MUST
*B.E/M.E/B.Sc+M.Sc/BCA+MCA in Computer Science or related technology
CERTIFICATION:
MCSD/MCP/MCAD/MCTS/MCPD certification is plus.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible and independent team member for coding and unit testing of .Net related development
Work closely with clients across globe including USA and Thailand
Must provide technical assistance to junior team members.
Should be able to translates module level requirements into the required technical solution by defining and documenting the high-level logical components (High Level design and low level design)
Strong understanding of logical database design and development, especially in Microsoft SQL Server (2005 & 2008) is required.
Strong understanding in the use of Microsoft development tools and technologies including Visual Studio (2003 and/or .Net) and Visio is required
Experience with MS SharePoint and Visual Source Safe is required.
Experience with formal software development processes and procedures is required. Experience in defining and implementing standards, processes and procedures is required.
Evaluates reported defects and the correction of prioritized defects.
Very good Knowledge of OOPS concepts, UML
Should be familiar with SDLC
Implement the design using best coding standards, guidelines etc.
Write and execute Unit and Integration test cases
Knowledge of Design Patterns is preferable
Conduct peer review as per peer review plan
Suggest innovative ideas, best practice or alternative as and when required
Experience with US clients is preferred.
