This position will be on payroll with IDC Technologies. Roles & Responsibilities: • Participate in and provide input into the design, re-design and development of technology products and applications • Manage the design and implementation of new software development and enhancement efforts • Coordinate systems installation and software testing with other technologists • Lead root-cause analyses, communicate options for resolution and provide recommendations to customer-facing technology problems • Work closely with quality assurance resources to create test plans & test cases • Ensure that issues are properly assigned, fixed, and regressed • Communicate daily regarding project status with appropriate team members • Provide technical expertise to product or project team • Advance doming knowledge in Billing / Rating / Charging / Mediation / Interconnect / Prepaid / Reports / Web Self Care /EliteAAA installation, configuration & maintenance • Assist the product or project manager in creation of functional and technical documents • Helps team members progress toward their professional development goals Education and Experience: • 5+ years experience in leading development projects and teams, preferably in telecom domain • Exposure with a technology focused organization • Bachelor’s degree / MCA in Computer Science • Very strong knowledge of software development processes • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies • Ability to work under tight deadlines • Expert in Java, JSP, Servlets, EJB, XML, SOAP • Expert in Concept of OOPS(C++,JAVA), Design Patterns-JAVA, J2ee Design Patterns • Advance knowledge of Operating System Installation & Administration of Linux, Sun Solaris and Shell Scripting • Hands on experience of Oracle installation, Administration, Back Up & Restore • Advance knowledge of in Application Server JBOSS and Tomcat • Extensive experience with a variety of server-side technologies, databases and frameworks • Strong organization, communication and interpersonal skills Varsha Is this job relevant to you?
