Responsibilities - Work with the Product Management to identify new products, features that our customers are asking for
- Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for global deployments delivering high-availability and performance.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Own and build end-to-end feature development, translate product requirements into rock solid reusable code that can be extended for other product features
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
- Not afraid to learn explore new technologies, build proof of concepts, review that with the technical architecture for possible improvements and go-live
Requirements - Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms
- Strong experience using Spring MVC, Hibernete frameworks
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
- Strong object-oriented design skills and familiarity common design patterns.
- Profound insight of Java and JEE internals (Class loading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc…)
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git / SVN
- Experience working with information retrieval technologies like Lucene, Solr is a plus
- Experience with test-driven development is a plus
