Professional qualification:
At least 6 years of Testing / Development experience in manufacturing domain. Technical Skills: Dot net skills , Data base skills ( Oracle 10g / 11g) , MQ , Web services, BPEL, Rules engine, Test management tools like QC / TFS, Testing automation Tools like QTP / Selenium / QA Run. The candidate should have : Good knowledge of the concepts of the Software Lifecycle Development cycle and Application software testing; he or she should be aware of the different types of testing processes and defect management process/tools. The candidate should be aware of the basic Order creation systems used at Dell or any other business process and working knowledge of DOMS would be great. He or she should have excellent verbal/ written communication skills and good problem solving skills. Working knowledge of some Automation tools such as QTP and other tools such as TFS would be a great plus.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Track the execution trend for Application Q &Q Productivity improvement in Test Case Authoring & Test Case Execution ü Participate in Application Level Estimation for a Program/Release Review/ oversee Test Results through the program SIT cycle Participate in authoring HLTS for an App at Program Level Peer review of TC’s from another application part of the Program/Release KM and Troubleshooting document Maintain Defect Prevention/DRE & other Quality Metrics defined for the Delivery Responsible for identifying the right App level regression test Suite for a program/release Responsible for defect closure Maintain uptime for the application in coordination with EMS team Daily Utilization and Productivity at Release/ Program/ App level Provide inputs to PTL for the post project analysis Implement and maintain standard estimations model by Phase/Task Participate in the Program kick-off meeting Understand the program scope and dependencies at the high level Participate in SRS and TDS review meetings Participate in all program level IT core meetings. Track Defect Turnaround times proactively during SIT
