PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for a Java Application developer who would be responsible for
• Responsible for development, unit testing and delivering quality code
• Responsible for technical design and development
• Working closely with the global teams to provide efficient technology solutions.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
• University degree in Computer Science or related disciplines
• 5+ of work experience in developing and/or maintaining applications.
• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design.
• Strong Core Java skills (preferably 1.7 and higher)
• Should have worked with technologies such as Spring framework, Quartz, and messaging
• Working with large scale, clustered servers and exposure to different types of architecture
• UX/UI â€" Recommended to have experience with - Angular1/Angular2, React, NodeJS, JQuery or other strong Model-View-Presenter frameworks.
• Collaborative, distributed project teams, knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, KanBan) with experience with JIRA tool
• Persistence technologies such as Postgres and preferable knowledge in areas of Hadoop HBASE with an architectural eye towards applying these solutions towards a problem.
• Performance critical development with some experience in solving performance issues, memory leaks
• Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
• Ability to effectively prioritize and escalate issues
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to pick up new areas and work as a team
• Ability to work extended hours and on Production support as needed.
• Familiarity working with JSON data
• Experience with working tools - Maven , Git repository
• Preferable if has experience with working with Reporting technologies - such as Jasper and Pentaho
• Shows a keen interest with taking up new innovative ideas
• Exposure with working with internationalization of web applications is preferable
